Meet Kate.

Certified Personal Trainer, Health Coach, & Marathoner.

My Story.

 

I’ve had a passion for fitness for as long as I can remember. As an avid runner all my life, I’ve completed over ten half marathons; most notably the 2019 HSS Greenwich Cup Half Marathon and the 2019 Chicago Marathon. However, it wasn’t until recently, (in preparation for my wedding, as a matter of fact), that I added strength training into the mix and quickly observed, not only the physical changes in my body but the overall health improvements in my day to day life. By making this modification to my fitness routine, I’ve become a faster runner, my golf swing is more powerful, and my metabolism has increased due to the rise in lean muscle mass (plus I sleep better, I say win-win, don’t ya think?).

 It’s become my mission to educate, inspire, and motivate you to feel like your best self. Whether you’re in high school or over 70, I know how to accommodate each person’s individual needs and goals within my training plan. Through functional movement, corrective exercise, and traditional strength training, your daily activities and hobbies will be more leisurely; you’ll feel better overall, prevent injuries, and reach your goals. You may even come to see fitness as fun!

  • Professional experience in Lagree Fitness (megaformer, Pilates, etc.)

  • Varsity Track & Field Coach, Greens Farms Academy, Westport, CT

  • 2019 HSS Greenwich Cup Half Marathon - 4th Woman overall and 1st in the 20-29 age group

  • 2019 Chicago Marathon - Top 5% across all men and women

Working out has become my escape from the stress and pressures of everyday life and it has always been the best part of my day, which is why I’ve followed my passion to make it my career. I look forward to helping you become the best version of yourself with the Kate Stahl Method!
